This is a speaking application for TEDxQUT 8th September 2027, 5.00pm - 7.30pm.
Thank you for taking the time to apply to speak at TEDxQUT 2027. The program would not be possible without those willing to share their ideas.
Applications close on 21st March 2027. It is likely that you will not be contacted before this date regarding your application.
Please ensure you carefully read the Speaker Commitment and the About TEDxQUT section at the beginning of the application.
To help you with your application, please note some of the criteria the TEDxQUT team use to determine which applications are fit for the TEDx stage:
- Is your idea new or unique?
- Is it interesting?
- Can it change the current perspective?
- Is it credible/realistic?

Learn what makes a strong TEDx idea, what our team is looking for in applications, and get practical tips to help increase your chances of being selected for an interview. Keep an eye on our TEDxQUT Events page to grab a ticket when they are released.
Don't wait for the workshop to submit your application. We encourage you to apply as soon as you're ready -workshop applicants will be given the opportunity to refine their submitted applications if they wish.
