Scholarship Eligibility

You must:

  • apply for and be offered a place in the Bachelor of Information Technology (Honours)*
  • be commencing in the Bachelor of Information Technology (Honours) course in semester 1 2020
  • be supervised in your honours research by an academic staff member of the Information Systems School.

* You can apply for this scholarship before you know the outcome of your application for the Bachelor of Science (Honours), but you must be offered a place in the honours degree and accept it to be eligible to receive the scholarship.

In this form you will be asked to provide information about your proposed project and supply a brief personal statement covering your suitability and motivation for the research. You will also be required to upload a copy of your academic transcript and any relevant supporting documentation. This form cannot be saved and if it is left for an extended amount of time (more than 30 minutes), the system will time you out which will result in your form not being saved.

Prior to attempting this this form, Please ensure you have prepared the following:

  • An outline of the area of research you would undertake in your Honours Project
  • A brief personal statement covering your suitability and motivation for your proposed research (no more than 200 words)

You will also be required to upload an up to date transcript (this can be an unofficial transcript for the initial purposes of this application). You may be required to submit a formal transcript at a later time.
